The pieces are weatherproof, lightweight, and they can be filled with water for adverse weather conditions. The pawns are 43cm tall, and the largest piece, the King, is 64cm. At this size they make a striking garden feature, and an enticement to all who see them to have a go. They are also great for 'team chess' which can be hilarious, as it is probably the only time when two brains are not better than one, merely a source of amusement! |
